So I've just started this game called Project Terra. Don't know if any of you have anything or what not. I'm just curious and not sure if I want to take it serious. But just thought I'd share this screenshot of current alliances in the game. Goddamnit. They're EVERYWHERE. Attachments:

if you send someone a PM in-game with the words "project Terra", the Game will censor it out and turn it into "@#$%&"
I kid you not.

Do send me one. The censorship extends that far?

That's awfully not very cricket of them... and if I wasn't already 4-years invested in the (free) game, I would be seriously turned off by the idea enough to peace out.
That's the weird thing -- this game is kinda at the end of its product cycle. I mean, I'm glad they are maintaining it, but net outward migration has been pretty steady, no?
I'd be happy to play for another couple years and then go out in a green blaze of roguish glory.

S'why decent, somewhat sane wars around here are harder to come by. Fewer of the old timers here to make it interesting. lol

Yeah, people have come to CN from other games - cough Ubercon cough - and the FoK people even. And gone out to other games - there used to be several groups on a German based game called Ikariam. I've gotten addicted to Illyriad. They don't use IPs to determine multiplaying but have a huge algorithm about style of play. They claim your entire dorm could play from your room and they could tell the difference. First alliance I saw there was Harmless. Oddly not related. Haven't ran into any CN folk there yet, but I like it. It is probably a bit to Elf/Dwarf/Orcish for them

No separate servers like Tribalwars / Grepopolis, etc? Interesting... not that I would ask about how one gets started in this game and where they might get info on a "good start", but -- oops, I'm asking. Randalla -- err, I mean The Apparatus will always be my one true love

To give me credit use this link illyriad.com/?73785You are allowed two accounts, if you want a link to my other one, so you can have 2, I can give you that too illyriad.com/?81236You start by picking gender and race. it will set you up somewhere randomly on the map. There are good n00b guides on the forum and good alliances just for n00bs. alliances cost money to found, lots of money, and have a 100 member limit. There are several decent training alliances, then, like CN, when you graduate, you go to trading alliances or fighting alliances or raiding alliances. Cerridwyn there as well It's different. There is ingame chat and the developers and mods are on it all the time. They listen to players. It's refreshing.
