My once every two months drive-by post is a bit of raging at Marvel's idiocy! Edward Norton got the axe, he won't be reprising his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk in The Avengers. According to the Marvel rep, Kevin Feige, this "was absolutely not a financial decision", which is basically code for "His last movie made $265 million internationally and revived an important character in our universe, and we don't want to pay him a fair contract". Which is all fine and good, without, you know, the classless swipes at Norton's talent, creativity, and work ethic that followed. Bad start to the film. They still have Whedon on to direct, at least, but... bad start.
