Just returned from the Medieval Times Tournament and Dinner this evening...and wanted to share some video. I'm not too certain if this will work, but had to give it a shot. We had an awesome time, although I'm suffering now...not used to the activity since the knee injury. So yeah...ouch. lol
Okay...that's better. It takes you right to my photobucket page. lol The screaming in the background is my daughter, her friend....and yeah...me too. lmao

Here is another. The video's were much longer, but I was unable to email them at full length with the iphone for some reason...so had to shorten it. This, in my opinion...was the best fight of them all. Blue knight kicked ass...and though we were rooting for the black and white...I like blue. Rand Likes blue...so yeah...
LMAO I knowwww! I'm all hoarse from yelling all evening. Felt like I was at a rock concert. I was just trying to sit there, relax and enjoy the show...but you get kinda caught up in it all. hehehe

I hope the Lord forgives this sin.
OH MY GOD! I LOVE MEDIEVAL TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still have their cups! Holy shit, I acted so unusual there. Typically I'm "boisterous" (as a teacher once put it), but never obnoxious. I was a barbarian at that place. I would have my bird in one hand, part of it in my mouth, me standing up, shouting for the Golden Knight, spitting my food everywhere.
I slammed by cup, spilling my precious drink everywhere, yelling like a maniac, screaming a few profanities every once in a while.
I loved that place. Although, I quite literally hated the Museum of Torture.
Want to go back: too far, too expensive. I'm glad y'all had fun!
LMAO!!!!! I can SOOOO see you doing that too!!!!! The show IS awesome and does bring out the barbarian in me...as you can hear me in the background. LMAO
The girls had a GREAT time...my two daughters and my eldest girl's friend came. They all got flowers from our knight, my oldest got a sash from his lance...they were positively swooning and drooling. After the show they got their flags and programs autographed by their favorite knights.
Annnnd...
The King of the North was there!!!! Well...their version, and he was a bad guy. hehe
Expensive too, but there was a great student deal that made the tickets really cheap. I couldn't resist. We usually do it once per year. I bought a wench coffee mug!!! OMG I love it!!! I'll take a pic and share tomorrow morning!!!
Brings back some fond memories. I was in the fight troupe at the MN RenFest way back in the mid 80's. Fun stuff. Only got really kicked in the head once. (That I remember anyway.)
That reminds me. I gotta take a pic and post my matching Winged sword and dagger in that other thread. Real carbon-steel.
