Among us are those brave souls who venture to admire the spectacle of collegiate sports. Some find it much more enjoyable than professionalism because players are driven more, so the argument goes. And I have found many to be stronger fanatics in college than in professional. While the sports love crosses all boundaries, I, an avid football man like Theodore Roosevelt, dedicate this thread to the passion of college football! For me, the losses and wins of my team on the university level is more often more intense than at the NFL. So, I will start. I AM FIGHTIN' IRISH. I'm pretty sure I was born with it, and ever since my uncles, parents, and grandmother had me watch my first Notre Dame game, I was an instant fan. I find almost no truer happiness than in watching a game, except with family and Christ. I have a few things here, just ND propa---I man, spirit stuff. I have plenty more stored away, but this is just a glimpse. Also.......THIS, was today. ((Check attached files. I sure damn pray they work.)) That's ME with COACH LOU HOLTZ, perhaps one of the greatest Irish coaches, or college coaches in general. He led Notre Dame to multiple victories (100 total, with only 30 losses, and two ties), a perfect season that ended with a national championship, and other titles. His team participated in four January1st major bowl game; no other university has done that. I could probably die and go to heaven now. ((Oh, and now I invite you to share. ))

And the second. This is actually when I first shake his hand, and I'm babbling like an idiot saying, "Coach, I'm a really, really big fan!!" He replied with his trademark lisp, "Well, thank ya! Ya look like you coulda been the leprechaun!" Head = swollen balloon. Attachments:
