I'm not really sure why groups of people get themselves so agitated about gay marriage. They're not causing harm to anyone! What people do with their own lives is really no concern of others. In my profession I have to deal with people from all walks of life. Therefore, I'm probably more liberal minded.
We have gay men and women serving overseas in the military, there are gay men and women serving as police officers, and also as firefighters etc. You don't hear them say, "oh, we can't help him or her because they're not gay".
I'm also a supporter and upholder of Human Rights!

Wait until the first lawsuit is filed when a man decides to marry his son in order to escape estate taxes. No wait, can't do that because of incest laws in our statutes. Incest? What incest? Gays can't reproduce. Go ahead and laugh. But y'all have no idea what can of worms is about to be unleashed upon us. Significant other? Where have I heard that before? So gays can get insurance for their "significant other" under law. I reckon now that they can get married, "significant other" might go by the wayside. It's very popular to be politically correct nowadays and impugn those who adhere to old fashioned values as being out of touch and unaccepting. I reckon I'll stay on the unpopular side of things. If y'all are trolling, it worked. I really don't care if you are a heterophobe or not. But if a heterophobe wants to get in my face, I reckon I'll jump right back at him. All I see from all this political correctness is more single parent households, more illegitimate births, increased poverty and unemployment, and a general abdication of individual responsibilty.
